1. Expression of interest – Applicants who wish to apply for the position of Apprentice within Deakin’s Plumbing & Heating LTD would be required at the first stage to email their CV with a statement of why they feel they would be a suitable fit to becoming a Plumbing & Heating Engineer.
2. Informal Interview—Applicants who have been accepted from their expression of interest will be asked to attend our office for an informal interview, which is intended to give both the applicant and employer insight.
3. Formal Interview & Practical Assessment – Following the informal interview the applicant will be asked to attend our office an undertake a formal interview and practical assessment with our Managing Director & Technical Manager. Following the formal interview & practical assessment the position will be awarded to the most suitable candidate.
The successful applicant will be offered the position on a three-month trial basis, which will be reviewed thereafter.
