Government Grants Available
If you rent your home or own a flat, you may be able to claim the EV Chargepoint Grant towards the cost of your charger and installation. It covers 75% of the combined cost of buying and installing an approved charge point, up to £500 per socket.
There’s also a separate grant for residential landlords, and one for households with on-street parking who install a cross-pavement charging solution.
Homeowners with a driveway aren’t eligible, as that part of the scheme closed in 2022.
Grants are administered by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), and you’ll need an OZEV-approved installer and an approved charge point to qualify. Check the full eligibility criteria on GOV.UK, or give us a call and we’ll talk it through.

We’ll send out one of our friendly expert installers to fit your charge point.
Our installer will arrive at your selected time. We’ll then install your charger on a brick or plaster wall that’s connected to your property.
Cable is run from the wall mounted position of your charger to your electricity meter position which should be no more than 10m.
The cable to the charge point is neatly clipped flush to the wall or in conduit/trunking. We’ll tidy up and take all the rubbish away.
Once the installation is complete, we will register your parts and labour guarantee with the manufacturer.
If your property has off-road parking and a suitable location for installation then yes. For example, a driveway, garage, or carport can be ideal places to set up a home charging point.
