Vaillant Domestic Boiler Installation at Eccleston Community Centre
We recently completed a domestic boiler installation project at Eccleston Community Centre, upgrading an ageing heating system to a modern, efficient solution designed for long-term reliability and performance.
The existing Sime combination boiler had reached the end of its expected service life. While it had served the building well over the years, older boilers can become increasingly inefficient, less reliable, and more costly to maintain. With this in mind, a replacement was the most practical and cost-effective option for the centre moving forward.
A Modern, Efficient Upgrade
The new system installed is a Vaillant Ecofit Pure combi boiler – a compact, high-efficiency unit that is ideally suited to community buildings and light commercial environments where dependable heating and hot water are essential.
Vaillant boilers are well known for their build quality, energy efficiency, and quiet operation, making them an excellent choice for shared spaces such as community centres. The Ecofit Pure range also benefits from a small footprint, allowing it to fit neatly into existing cupboard or plant room spaces without disruption.
Smarter Heating Controls & System Protection
As part of the installation, we fitted a radio frequency programmable room thermostat, providing Combi + compliant controls. This allows for accurate temperature management and greater control over heating schedules, helping to improve comfort while reducing unnecessary energy usage.
To protect the new boiler and extend its lifespan, we also installed a Vaillant Protect Filter. This magnetic system filter helps prevent the build-up of sludge and debris within the heating system – a common cause of breakdowns and reduced efficiency in older pipework.
